The Analytics system is only available to administrators (Phase 1).
This Report builder has the following features:
Analytics Cubes: A set of data to report against. When a cube is selected, you have the ability to select more cubes, however the remaining cube options will be filtered to remove cubes that cannot be related to the one you initially selected.
Dimensions: Report Columns. All Dimension names are pre-pended with their source cube name. The order of dimensions/columns selected will determine the priority of data queried in the system ("left join"). To elaborate:
Example: Select an Item dimension. Then select a User dimension. The report will generate with all data for Items but will only include User data that has a relevant Item. If there is User data without Items associated, that User data will not appear. If this relationship is reversed (User data first, then Item data), then you will see all Users in the system, and Items will only display if related to a User.
*NEW* Report criteria rows can now be re-ordered by grabbing the triple line/handle symbol.
Measures: Aggregation or Count of rows. Example: You can determine the number of times an Attribute has been used by adding “Count of Items” as the Measure. See screenshot below.
Segments: Commonly used Filters that have been turned into shortcuts called Segments. If there is a filter you use often, please inform the development team and we can create a Segment.
Example: Item types are Files, Folders, or Forms. A common filter is to select for just Files. This has been turned into a Segment.
Filters: Similar to the existing Reporting system. You may create simple filters, and also use Filter Groups for complex grouping of sub-filtration rules.

Time dimensions: Filters based on Time. If you have selected a Cube with a time field such as "Date Created", you can filter your results by a fixed date range or a relative date range. Relative date ranges are expressions such as: “10 days ago, last year, last month, last quarter, 10 business days ago”, etc.

Order: Specify column ordering manually or simply click on a column header in the report and it will automatically create an Ordering rule. Requires that a Dimension has been picked in the Dimension report parameters.
