You can create email templates and use them to send email notifications as part of a workflow. For example, you could send an email to users when a workflow is activated.
You can use variables to insert information in the email subject and body. For details, see Use Variables in an Email Template.
To work with email templates, first click your profile icon to access Settings. On the Settings page, click Customize, then click Emails.
- Click + Add Email Template (or click + in the Emails list).
- Enter the email subject line.
- Enter the email message by replacing the placeholder text in the sample message. Use the editing tools to format your message by changing the font and color, inserting links and images, and so on.
- Click Save. The email template is added to the Emails list.
