You can add a task after any existing task in the workflow.

  1. To add a task:
    1. Hover an existing task.
    2. Click +, then click New Task. The task is added after the existing task. For details on entering the task information, see Set up Workflow Tasks.

  1. To delete a task, hover over the task, then click . Click Yes to confirm.

 

You can start a new branch anywhere in the workflow. You can use branches to define different paths or to run parallel processes. In the following example, separate branches are used to define activities for different groups.

 

  1. To add a branch:
    1. Hover over an existing task.
    2. Click +, then click New Branch. A new branch (containing a new task) is added.

  1. To delete a branch, delete all of the tasks on the branch.

 

There may be times when you want branches to converge and return to the main workflow. To accomplish this, you can merge the branches. In the following example, two branches have been merged back into the main workflow.

 

  1. Hover over the task at the end of a branch.
  2. Click +, then click Merge Branches.
