You can copy an issue to another file by propagating the issue. The propagated issue is separate from the parent issue, so any changes to the parent issue will not affect the propagated issue.

The parent issue number is included in the propagated issue number. For example, if the parent issue number is 125, the propagated issue number would be 125-[the next available issue number].

 

Click Files in the side panel. (If Files is not shown, see Customize the Side Panel for details on how to add it.)


1. Open a file.

2. In the Issues panel, select the checkbox beside one or more panel

    or

    To select all issues, click  , then click Select All.

 3. Click  , then click Propagate Selected Issues.

 4. Search for the files you want to propagate the issue to.

  1. In the first field, select the criteria you want to search for.

  2. In the second field, enter the text you want to search for.

  3. Click .

 5. Files matching your search criteria are shown. Select the checkbox beside the files you want to propagate the issue to.

 6. Click Propagate.
