You can customize the page layout you want to use when viewing folders and files. You can decide how many columns to use, which panels to display, and the order that panels are shown.
Folders and files have different page layouts. When you change the layout for a folder, the same layout will be used for all folders. When you change the layout for a file, the same layout will be used for all files.
Click Files in the side panel. (If Files is not shown, see Customize the Side Panel for details on how to add it.)
1. To customize the layout for folders:
From the Home folder (or any folder), in the toolbar click More, then click Edit Layout.
or
To customize the layout for files:
Open any file. In the toolbar, click More, then click Edit Layout.
2. The layout options are shown at the top of the page.
3. You can now do the following:
- Change the number of columns and the column layout.
- Select the panels shown on the page.
- Rearrange the panels on the page.
- Reset the layout to the default layout.
4. When you’re done modifying the layout, click Exit Layout Edit Mode in the toolbar.
