The Compare Tool currently has two modes for extracting text from the documents to be compared. Each mode employs a different process and methodology for extracting each word from a document. Depending on the “internal structure” of the document, the way the text is extracted from it could, in some cases, greatly improve the accuracy of the Compare results.

There are currently two text extractions modes supported within Blue Relay: “Legacy” mode and the newer mode “Ares”. By default, “Legacy” installed on all Blue Relay systems and requires no further setup or configuration to use. Whereas the new “Ares” mode requires a few additional steps and procedures to be enabled within Blue Relay.
