You can use annotations to add notes and highlight information in documents. Each time a user creates annotations for a document, the annotations are saved in a new PDF. These annotation PDFs are listed in the Versions panel under the document version that they apply to.
Note You can modify saved annotations by moving and deleting them. You can also edit saved text annotations. However, you can’t modify an annotation’s size, shape, or color. For details, see Edit Annotations.
Click Files in the side panel. (If Files is not shown, see Customize the Side Panel for details on how to add it.)
Open a file.
In the Versions panel, select the version you want to add annotations to. If you don’t select a version, the annotations will be added to the latest version of the file.
In the Versions panel, click New Annotation. The annotations toolbar appears.
You can now do the following:
When you’re done adding annotations, click Save in the toolbar.
